Meet the
Harringtons
Karen and Mark Harrington and their oldest
son, Michael, love to build homes! When you meet them, it
becomes obvious how much they enjoy their work, and how much they
enjoy working with their customers. |

Mark started
his home building
business in 1987,
and is now recognized throughout Central New York for his work. He
has served as Chairman
of the Parade
of Homes, Chairman
of the Conciliation Committee, a member of the Remodelors Council,
Vice President, President and Member of the Home Builders Association
Executive Board, and now serves as a Life Director on the Home
Builder's Board, plus assorted other committees.
When he's not working,
Mark enjoys spending
time with his family. |

Karen's excellent work can be found
throughout the interiors of Harrington
Homes. Since leaving a career in special
education more
than 12 years
ago, Karen has
worked with clients to create environments perfect for them.
Michael has been working with Karen and together, they have become
an unbeatable design team.
Michael joined the team in 2003 after completing his business
program at LeMoyne College. In addition to the design work,
Michael is active in both the management and sales side of Harrington
Homes.
Karen is a member
of the Parade
of Homes Committee for the Home Builders of CNY, and has won
numerous design awards in the "Best of" categories
during the Parade. Best Family Room, Best Sunroom, Best
Master Suite,
Best Exterior,
Best Kitchen
and Best Living
Room are among her recognitions.
Karen enjoys
working directly
with each client
to choose colors, materials and pieces for the interiors of
their homes. |

In addition to Michael, The Harringtons have
two children,
Alex and Avriel.
Alex
is attending College at Oswego and Avirel attends Fayetteville-Manlius
school. They all enjoy music and basketball.
The Harringtons
actively support
a number of local organizations including Children's Hospital,
WRVO, Syracuse
Boys and Girls Club, Juvenile Diabetes Association, Central
New York Food Bank, Syracuse Opera and assorted others.
